Name of product: Fluke – 8x V Series- Digital Multimeters (DMM)

Within the Fluke 8x V Series, the following models: Fluke 87V, Fluke 87V MAX, Fluke 83V, Fluke 88V

The affected serial numbers are as follows:
All Fluke 83V, 87V, 87V MAX or Fluke 88 V models with a serial number between 46280001 and 55370001 (both included).

Users can check if they have one of the affected appliances on the back of the appliances.

Hazard: Electric Shock

Some products may have an intermittent electrical connection in the COM terminal which may cause an operator to incorrectly assess a hazardous electrical installation as being disconnected/safe to touch.

This incorrect assessment could result in electric shock/electrocution/burns due to arc flash if contact is made with the installation conductors.

Remedy: Check if your product is affected and perform a test procedure & register for free repair if affected
