Name of product: Lindt LINDOR Salted Caramel Milk Chocolate Bars

Waitrose, OneStop, Tesco, and Sainsbury’s have issued a recall notice for one batch of the Lindt LINDOR Salted Caramel Milk Chocolate 38g Bars.

The batch code and the best before date can be found on the reverse of the bar located in a white rectangle. No other Lindt products are affected.

Hazard: Allergens -contains Wheat (gluten) which is not mentioned on the label.

This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to gluten.

The recall is due to a packaging error, so in a small numbers of packs there is an incorrect product instead of the one declared on the label: so, in place of the Salted Caramel Milk Chocolate, the pack contains the Strawberry Cheesecake flavoured bar, which has wheat (gluten) not declared on the label.

 

Remedy: If you have bought the above product and have an allergy or intolerance to gluten, do not consume it.

Check the data of the recalled packages and then do not consume the product, but return it to the shop where it was purchased for a full refund.
